Reaching out to the Community

Giving back to the community is always a wonderful deed. Kesh G. Monroe, owner of Dymond Wayz Accessories Heav'n, has begun a non profit organization helping young women acheive their dreams of looking beautiful for their prom. Every year there will be a lucky young lady awaiting their fit for the perfect dress and accessories. The first recipient goes by the name of Nozipho Jacobs, a student at Salem High School.

I respect the fact that Miss Ehsani is true designer at heart. This Los Angeles native decided to take a road that felt was best for her. I guess choosing Fashion over Law School was the best choice for her after all. This chick is filled with an eccentric attitude. She makes sure that whatever she illustrates can be worn with the correct individuals that will carry her name with pride & joy. The purpose of her designs is to let people know that you should not judge a book by its cover, but you are going to do it anyway so why not take the world out with a bang. Celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Keri Hilson, Erykah Badu, etc have worn Melody Ehsani.

May 2010 Art Stroll

Sorry I have been slacking on the posts...hopefully no hard feelings everyone. I do however keep it coming lol




Anywho
The artstroll once again was fun with live music, vendors, and food of course. Lamik Cosmetics showed love to all the women giving make up demonstrations. They did a wonderful job except for the fact one of them tweezed my eyebrows and it hurt like hell afterwards.They do however sell their own cosmetics and on the scale of 1-10 the products are a 20!

Dymond Wayz does it again selling ONE OF A KIND accessories. I will need for you all to realize that Dymond Wayz is not just owned by a person wanting money, but a person who visualizes being the top

You know I wish this event is more than just an area thing, it should be bigger than it is. There is so many artistic individual out here in the world breathing not knowing about things like this. The word around the streets is that Atlanta is cutting "the arts" out of the budget meaning no more events that considers the word "art". I do not think that is fair at all. I am pretty sure a strike will occur. What do you all think?

Shades and Babes event held at Vitesse Exchange located in Castleberry Hill were very interesting. Of course all of the fashionistas came out to support like always. Corinne Stevie did a wonderful live performance as always. Designer Kae Couture featured her swimwear giving us a tiny presentation on the beautiful models who volunteered to sit pretty at the event. Kendrick Daye also known as the Great Eclectic designed the shades.
